What are AI credits?
AI credits measure the AI-powered work Zagvo performs for you. They are used when Zagvo generates roadmaps, creates detailed prompts, analyses project context, provides guidance or performs other AI-assisted actions.
Your projects, workspace history and saved project context do not consume credits simply by existing.

How much does Zagvo cost?
Zagvo starts at $19 per month on annual billing or $29 per month on monthly billing. Pro and Studio plans follow the same annual-versus-monthly pricing structure shown above.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing offers a lower effective monthly price in exchange for a yearly commitment. Monthly billing provides greater flexibility at a higher monthly price.
What are AI credits?
AI credits measure the AI-powered work Zagvo performs for you. Each plan includes a monthly credit allocation: 500 on Starter, 1,500 on Pro and 5,000 on Studio.
What uses AI credits?
Credits are used when Zagvo performs AI work: generating build plans and tasks, writing builder instructions, generating or regenerating documentation, verifying completed work, analysing project context and answering the AI Product Mentor.
What is Living Documentation?
Living Documentation is the set of professional product documents Zagvo maintains for your project, product requirements, technical design, database schema, API specification, UX flows, QA checklist, security review and launch checklist. They are generated from your real decisions and stay connected to each other as the product evolves.
How do documentation versions work?
Documents are immutable. Every edit, regeneration or restore creates a new version, and version history is kept so you can see exactly what changed and when. Approvals always reference one specific version.
Can I export documents?
Yes. Every document can be exported to Markdown, PDF and DOCX from the document view on any plan.
How does documentation stay synchronized?
Zagvo tracks requirement-level knowledge across documents. When something upstream changes, the documents that consume it are marked with a freshness state (fresh, partially outdated, outdated or review required) so you can see what should be reviewed.
What happens when requirements change?
Zagvo identifies which downstream documents reference the changed requirement and flags them for review. Nothing is silently rewritten, and stable requirement IDs are preserved so traceability survives regeneration.
Can I regenerate documentation?
Yes. You can regenerate a document at any time on Pro and Studio. Regeneration creates a new version rather than overwriting history, and consumes AI credits.
Are documentation updates automatic?
Detection is automatic; regeneration is not. Zagvo continuously detects impact and marks affected documents, but you decide when to regenerate or approve a new version.
What is Product Verification?
When you mark work as complete, Zagvo checks the outcome against what the task actually required and tells you whether it looks genuinely done or still needs attention before you move on.
How do AI credits work with documentation?
Generating or regenerating a document consumes AI credits. Reading, browsing version history, approving a version and comparing versions do not.
Do exports consume AI credits?
No. Markdown, PDF and DOCX exports are rendered from the stored version and never consume credits.
Do projects consume AI credits?
No. Your projects, workspace history and saved project context do not consume credits simply by existing. Credits are only used when Zagvo performs AI-powered work.
Are projects unlimited?
Yes. Every Zagvo plan includes unlimited projects. You are never charged based on how many projects you create.
What happens when I run out of AI credits?
Your projects, plans and history stay intact. New AI-powered generations pause until your credits refresh on your next billing cycle, or you can upgrade to a plan with a larger monthly allocation. Final details of end-of-cycle behaviour will be confirmed at launch.
Do unused credits roll over?
Credits are allocated per billing cycle. Rollover is not available today, and any future rollover policy will be published in your account before it takes effect.
Can I buy more credits?
Additional AI credit packs are coming soon for users who need more capacity without changing plans. Until then, upgrading your plan increases your monthly allocation.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. You can manage your subscription from the billing portal in your account. Plan changes may take effect based on your current billing cycle.
Which plan is best for a solo founder?
Starter suits solo builders getting started, with unlimited projects and 500 AI credits a month. If you are shipping and iterating regularly, Pro adds advanced reasoning models, faster generations and 1,500 credits.
Which plan is best for an agency or team?
Studio is designed for agencies, consultants, serial builders and small product teams. It includes 5,000 AI credits a month, premium reasoning models and the highest generation priority. Multiple workspaces, team collaboration and shared project knowledge are coming soon.
Does Zagvo charge separately for each AI builder?
No. Every plan works with all supported AI builders at no extra cost. You pay for your Zagvo plan and its monthly AI credits, not per builder.
Do all plans work with Lovable, Cursor, Claude Code, Bolt, Replit, Windsurf and Emergent?
Yes. All supported AI builders, including Lovable, Cursor, Claude Code, Bolt, Replit, Windsurf and Emergent, are available on every plan. Zagvo is the planning layer; you keep building in the tool you prefer.
